introduced in Asian Games 2010 this year in Guangzhou,

China. However Board of Control for Cricket (BCCI) has
decided not to send an entry this year for both men and
women categories. In Guangzhou this will be the 16th
Asian games and will be held between

12th to 27th November.

BCCI made an official announcement in this regard on

Tuesday, 1st of June.Twenty20 cricket for Asian Games
recently got approved by Olympic Council of Asia’s
General Assembly in Kuwait. May 31st was the last
dayconfirmparticipation.

BCCI has announced that the Indian team will not be

available during that time due to other international
schedule which has already been committed. The BCCI
chief administrative officer Ratnakar Shetty announced
that the same has been asian games 2010 communicated
to the Indian Olympic Association. During November this
year TEST and ODI has been scheduled where India will
be hosting New Zealand. Pakistan, Srilanka, Bangladesh
are all expected to send their team for the 1st Twenty20
cricket tournament in Asian Games
