ARMENİA IMPASSE

A big issue -that come to the past- between two sibling communities and the efforts of states
which want to solve this issue, whereas the reason of this issue is their own politics… The best
description of this situation…

I’m wondering what big states are considering about the decision of Armenia Institutional Court.
According to big states, Armenia won’t want land from Turkey and for (Supposedly) Armenian
Genocide a research commission will be founded by big state. But Armenian Institutional Court said
“the genocide can never be discussed and can’t accept the borders which were drawn by the treaties
that were signed before 1990. The meanings of these are that Turkey will accept Armenian Genocide
unconditionally and because of the borders being invalid, new borders will be drawn between two
countries. And as Armenia won’t be give land to Turkey, Turkey will give land to Armenia.

The main issue regarding to the protocol is to be commented in two difference forms. There are
three explanations. The first explanation is not to be talked about the substances of the protocol in
detail. Secondly, nobody knows some substances of the protocol without the exception of some
people or states. And lastly, one-side is violating the protocol, isn’t obeying them.

The second explanation is absurd. Because historical protocol isn’t a secret. Why doesn’t
anybody know some substances of the protocol without the exception of some people or states? It
isn’t sensible. Unless some substances were talked in detail, this is the mistake of Turkey. Now it
must do things which are necessary; Turkey must accept the (supposedly) genocide and the borders
must be drawn again (unfortunately). If Turkey don’t want to violate the protocol! I think here the
most correct alternative is that one-side is violating the protocol. I wish this side isn’t Turkey and I
wish big states become fairer than Cyprus Issue.

I want to tell the language and expression of the author instead of telling third part of the
column; the importance of the situation, the correct strategies of Turkey…etc. Firstly, I think the
author is considering that everybody know everything about the protocol. I’m sure the aim of column
isn’t to give information; it’s to comment about a situation or an event. But it may be good if the
author should tell this situation more clearly. As a result it may not correct that everybody know the
event about the protocol or issue in detail. And it isn’t good that the author repeat the suppositions.

In conclusion, there is an issue which big caused. However, there are the same big states that
want to solve this issue. There is a protocol and sides which are commenting it differently. And there
is an impasse: the decision of Armenia Institutional Court. I wish that big states conduct different
politics than Cyprus Issue and Annan’s Plan and they become fairer.
