Angel,Fallen

The dawn touches my heart,lifts me high up in the clouds;

Where,I know not how the flesh and spirit are apart,

Life once so sweet, brings forth today only bitterness;

The wounds of yesterday so raw even today,the thorns that scar my existence,

Were never to fade away,some hurts even escape the clutches of time.

Eyes that don’t blink watch in misery as death eludes,

Foretold,my cruel fate tears my wings,bit by bit at its own leisure.

Pain,suffering,loss,despair, aquainted with all I am,

Yet,never shall my sails depart from the storm,

Where my existence dwells.

The hands that carved me,smote me too..

Love was corrupting,Hate was consuming;

Lessons of betrayal,were taught too late,

Pushing me off the precipice,towards my never ending fall,

Where my bane and darkness awaits,

Unfurl my wings and escape,but even dreams that show hope are strangled..

Eternity of whispers and ushers of the forbidden,

Greet me,the Fallen One.
