The health insurance scheme aims at financially enabling the weaver to access the best of health care facilities in the country.
2. The scheme aims at covering not only the
weaver but his wife and 2 children against all pre-existing diseases as well as new diseases. funding pattern The funding pattern is the salient feature of this scheme, which is done by co-optex in collaboration with the government. 1. Contribution by the govt. is rs.642.47/- per anum (rs. 556.50 + st= rs. 85.97)
2. Contribution by co-optex on behalf of the
hAndloom weaver is rs. 139.13/- per anum.
3. Total premium sums up to rs. 781.60/- per
anum. Eligibility For availing the facility 1. All weavers whether male or female, are eligible to be covered under the health insurance scheme.
