One registered copy of AcqURL may either be used by a single person who uses the

you have obtained a site license for the software covering all workstations that will
access the software through the network. For instance, if 10 different workstations
will access AcqURL on the network, you need a 10 user site license, regardless of
whether they use AcqURL at different times or concurrently.

When a web site is bookmarked AcqURL also captures the IP address. If you click
your right mouse button on a bookmark button that contains a bookmark, you can

that the DNS for accessing the web site.
Using the IP address allows the web site to be found faster because the DNS (web
page name) does not have to be looked up first. This is one of the main ways that
web accelerators work to speed up access.
AcqURL will also notify you if the site you are going to, using a bookmark in
AcqURL, has changed its IP address (moved to another network location).

5.1. When using Netscape 6.x with AcqURL a number of browser windows open when I
try to launch 1 bookmark. Why does this happen and what can I do to stop it?
Netscape 6.x does not support the industry standard Windows DDE (Dynamic Data
Exchange) format, because of this you will need to set AcqURL to "Open another
Browser window on Launch". This can be done from the AcqURL toolbar by
selecting the multiple window icon (4th from the left), or by clicking on the
Browsers menu and selecting "Use Multipe Browser Windows".
