Ban List
 The below list of countries and air carriers is prepared and published in order to increase the
safety margin of civil aircraft operation in Iraq.
 All passenger carrying aircrafts registered in any country listed below are prohibited from
operating in commercial air transport into or from Iraqi airports.
 This list is based on the information provided from the following resources:
1. ICAO USOAP summary reports.
2. European Community List of Banned Air Carriers.
3. FAA IASA program.
 Aircrafts registered in countries not in the list and operating in Iraq is subject to safety
assessment in accordance with ICAO and Iraqi civil aviation safety standards.
 This list will be updated based on changes in the above resources and any findings deducted
from the safety assessments of Iraqi civil aviation.
