First stanza

‫دا وطن افغانستان دى‬ Dā watan Afγānistān dai, This land is Afghanistan,
‫دا عزت د هر افغان دى‬ dā izat də har Afγān dai it is the pride of every Afghan
‫ كور د تورې‬،‫كور د سولې‬ Kor də sole, kor də ture, The land of peace, the land of sword,
‫هر بچى يې قهرمان دى‬ har bačai ye qahramān dai each of its sons is brave

Second stanza

‫دا وطن د ټولو كور دى‬ Dā watan də ttolo kor dai, This is the country of every tribe,
‫ د ازبكو‬،‫د بلوچو‬ də Baločo, də Uzbəko The land of Balochs and Uzbeks
‫د پــښــتون او هزارهوو‬ də Pax̌tun aw Hazārawo, Pashtuns and Hazaras,
‫ـ د تاجكو‬،‫د تركمنو‬ də Turkməno, də Tāǰəko Turkmens and Tajiks

Third stanza

‫ ګوجر دي‬،‫ور سره عرب‬ Wər sara Arəb, Guǰər di, With them, there are Arabs and Gujjars,
‫ نورستانيان‬،‫پاميريان‬ Pāmiryān, Nuristānyān Pamiris, Nuristanis
‫ قزلباش دي‬،‫براهوي دي‬ Brāhuwi di, Qizilbāsh di, Brahuis, and Qizilbash,
‫ هم پشايان‬،‫هم ايماق‬ ham Aymāq, ham Pašāyān also Aimaqs and Pashais

Fourth stanza

‫دا هيواد به تل ځلېږي‬ Dā hiwād ba təl dzaleγ̌i, This land will shine for ever,
‫لكه لمر پر شنه آسمان‬ ləka lmar pər šnə āsmān like the sun in the blue sky
‫په سينې كې د آسيا به‬ Pə sine ke də Āsyā ba, In the chest of Asia,
‫لكه زړه وي جاويدان‬ ləka zrrə wi ǰāwidān it will remain as heart for ever

Fifth stanza

‫نوم د حق مو دى رهبر‬ Num də haq mo dai rahbar, We will follow the one God
‫وايو هللا اكبر‬ Wāyu Allāhu Akbar, We all say, "Allah is the greatest!",
‫وايو هللا اكبر‬ Wāyu Allāhu Akbar, we all say, "Allah is the greatest!",
‫وايو هللا اكبر‬ Wāyu Allāhu Akbar we all say, "Allah is the greatest!"
