The goal of the ARALA is to provide an
environment for all FN land managers to network on related issues, and as well create systems that will assist our common interests.

1.Direct linkages to INAC’s various infrastructure pertaining to Reserve land management. 2.Involvement with regional communities operating under RLAP/RLEMP, Section 53/60 (delegation of authority), First Nation Land Management Initiative. 3.Build and strengthen common linkages affecting FN Land Management through sharing of best practices. 4.Strategic planning for building capacity and expertise at the FN level concerning land management. 5.Building capacity and expertise in FN Land Management through delivery of specific training for land managers/officers. 6.Consultation and mentoring on land management issues. 7.Identification of new land issues and recommendations from existing pool of in- house expertise in land management. 8.Regular ARALA meetings at participating FN communities, which provides opportunities to view existing land management systems. 9.Up-to-date information regarding land management, and options for developing individual land management programs for FN band councils. 10.
