Project Description
The purpose of this assignment is for you to impress future employers or grad school admissions professionals with who you are;
it is a summary of your experiences, both professional and academic; and a well developed résumé is a key piece to any
experiential education curriculum.
Category Target
Grammar & Spelling Student makes no errors in
(Conventions) grammar or spelling that
distracts the reader from the
content.
Formatting Resume contains consistent use
of tenses and font types and all
information is alligned properly.
Writer effectively uses bullets
and numbering tools to organize
information.
Use of white space Resume contains excellent use
of white space. Visually the
resume is "easy on the eyes" and
flows.
Experience Student lists 3 or 4 major
duties/skills they
performed/acquired at each job.
Word Choice Student uses professional
language that relates to career
goals and fields and points out
their qualifications. The choice
is natural and accurate.
