Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Ladies Home (OLMC) believes that safety, convenience and comfort
need not be expensive. OLMC addresses residents' desire for safety and security right at the
heart of the University Belt. That is why everything we do here is geared towards ensuring that
OLMC remains to be the home that looks after the welfare of its residents.

We provide dormitory and transient services strictly for ladies only. All our studios and rooms are
brand new and fully furnished with own separate toilet, bathroom, study room cum dining and
living room complete with pantry, kitchen cupboard and sink. We provide solo rooms as well as
shared rooms both non-airconditioned and airconditioned. All airconditioners are brand new. Loft
beds provided were all finecrafted by very skilled Pampango craftsmen using purely aged
Philippine tanguile wood. Our water system provides strong high pressured clean water through
stainless water tanks and pest-proof water cistern.

To ensure the total safety and security of all residents, House Rules are strictly implemented. 
These include logging-in of all visitors and guests of residents and requiring them to sign and
leave their government IDs while within the premises.  House Rules and state-of-the-art
technologies on fire safety and crime detection and prevention are also strictly in effect and
enforced at all times.

The building is entirely made of strong concrete fire proof and earth quake resistant materials
buttressed by a very sound and strong building foundation built by reputable construction
companies.  The building is likewise furnished with more than adequate fire exits at every floor
and fire hydrants and fire extinguishers near the entrance of every room.
These are just some of the reasons why a parent or a spouse can have peace of mind, knowing
that the loved one is truly safe.  OLMC
management cares for its residents like
family, hence, will even provide at no cost the discrete monitoring
of a  daughter upon her parent's written request. (pwede dili??)

We are located at the corner of two very wide, uncrowded and very accessible roads, namely: 
Mendoza Avenue and Concepcion Street where free parking slots fronting both roads are
provided.  The neighborhood is very friendly, very peaceful and the place is very quiet, hence
very conducive to studying.  Thus making it the ideal place for students, reviewees and
examinees.  Because of its classy facilities and strategic location, it is also the ideal place to stay
when visiting Manila.
More newly constructed solo rooms will be available for occupancy by January 2011.  These new
rooms are fully furnished with brand new airconditioners, own toilet and bath, pantry complete
with cupboard and kitchen sink, closet and study area.  These rooms are very classy, even its
doors (including the bath room door) are finecrafted from "yakal", a Philippine hardwood. 
Introductory rates for these rooms are as low as P6,000 to P9,000 per month
depending on room size!  Reservations are now being accepted. A newly constructed, totally
brand new lobby complete with reception area, dining and living room with widescreen cable TV,
study area and internet room will also be available for the free use of all residents and transients
by January 2011!!!

Five to ten minutes walk to the UST; Three to Seven minutes walk to Perpetual Help College; Six
to Twelve Minutes walk to Family Clinic College and St. Jude College.
Very near review centers like Pentagon, CPAR, etc.  
Less than a minute walk to Family Clinic Hospital; Six to twelve minutes walk to the Hospital of
the Infant Jesus, Perpetual Help Hospital, St. Jude Hospital and Dangwa Tranco Bus Terminal.
Five to ten minutes walk to Jose Reyes Memorial Hospital and LRT Station; Fifteen to twenty
minutes walk to the Professional Regulations Commission (PRC), PSBA and FEU.
Ten to fifteen minutes walk to SM-San Lazaro and Tayuman LRT Station

RANSIENT RATES range from as low as P500 to P700 per room per day depending on size of
room. A maximum of four guests is allowed in each room. The rate of P500 to P700 is good for
two persons. Only guests in excess of two shall be charged an additional P150 per person per
day. All rooms for transients are furnished with brand new airconditioners, brand new beds with
brand new closets, brand new kithchen pantry with dining area. The daily rate already includes
airconditioning, electricity and water. To ensure room availability, transient guests are
encouraged to make their reservation at least a day before their intended stay.

OLMC offers many choices for shared rooms. The number of occupants in shared rooms range
from two, four or six. Monthly rental rates range from as low as P2,200 for rooms shared by six,
P2,400 or P2,500 for rooms shared by four, to P2,800 for rooms
shared by two. The additional monthly rent for airconditioned shared rooms is
only P150 to P200 depending on room sharing and size.
Residents who prefer to have a single (solo) room have a range of price choices from P5,600
to P7,000 per month depending on the size of the room. The additional monthly rent for
airconditioned solo rooms is only P400.
Entire studios, complete with the amenities and facilities described above, may also be rented at

P17,000.00 per month. These studios are fully furnished with

rooms, two brand new toilets, two brand new
bathrooms with laundry area, study table in a
study/dining/living area, and pantry complete
with cupboard and kitchen sink. (kung upat ta ka

For a monthly rent as low as P2,200, you will be entitled:
to stay in a brand new room with the full array of amenities and furnishings described above;
a bed space (you can avail of a uratex mattress at cost for only P1,250);
Electricity and water shall be proportionately shared by all residents in the room/studio. For this
purpose each room/studio is provided with separate water and electricity
meters.
Cooking using electricity is allowed (rice cooker!) within the common pantry provided for
residents in each room/studio;

Residents may request for regular cleaning of their room and/or common areas within their
studio;
Free parking spaces are available on a first come first served basis;
Closets/lockers are provided to each resident;

There are no hidden charges.

Special Discounts
Barkada rates lower by 10% of standard rates shall be allowed for the first month rent of
barkadas numbering at least four (4) who come in to reside at the same time.
