Teaching Plan and

syllabus
INTRODUCTION
English Language courses are intended as an introduction for students
before they took a course English Law. In this course, students are
trained to be able to understand the readings in connection with legal
disciplines (Home for Legal Purposes). In this course despite the
grammatical aspects are considered, but the focus is more directed
teaching to students' ability to read and understand (reading
comprehension) stories (law) specific.

BACKGROUND

English is one of international language. It has important rule in the


world. Most people use English to communicate with other people
from other countries. This reason make English language are
important to teach in all of education aspect and one of them is in law
faculty. In law faculty, English very important because law related to
international world. Law’s students must expert English language to
support their career.

• Conclusion
• English is international language. It must teach in all
education aspect start from elementary school, junior high
school, senior high school and university. English Language
courses are intended as an introduction for students before
they took a course English Law. In this course, students are
trained to be able to understand the readings in connection

 Students can identify the type and generic structure of text.
 Students can understand the content of the text.
 Students can add to the vocabulary in the English language.

WRITING
 Standard Competence : Reveal the meaning of the text
written monologue / essay form of exposition and
explanation in the context of everyday life

 Basic standard : Reveal the meaning and rhetoric step in


writing an essay using a variety of accurate, fluent, and
acceptable in the context of daily life in the form of
exposition text.

 Indicators : 1. Students can use grammar accurately


written.
2. Students can arrange a paragraph
3. Students can elaborate the main idea
4. Students can create a draft
 Time allocation : 2 x 45 minutes
PURPOSE OF LEARNING
Students can arrange a good and true exposition text.
Students can add to the vocabulary in the English language.

LEARNING MATERIALS
Arrange several sentences to be a good paragraph.
Discuss contain and grammar structure that use in the text.
