Dew Point Monitoring

Precise and long term stable dew point monito-

ring - now without complex mounting

If compressed air is not dried before feeding it into the com-

pressed air network, considerable amount of condensate
gets accumulated in the air line network and causes mal-
functioning of valves, pneumatic components and finally
leads to stalling of production activity. Hence, the pressure
dew point in compressed air system is a decisive parameter
for air quality and should be regularly measured.

Till now, a retro fitment of existing plant with a monitoring

device used to be very expensive: The plant had to be shut
down and it resulted in high installation costs for mounting in
compressed air pipeline and electrical connection.

With TPW-20M, which is the latest model of the proven AIR-

SECURE pressure dew point series, the expenses have
now reduced to a minimum. Because of the pre-integrated
measuring chamber with protection filter and bypass valve,
the control unit can be directly plugged onto a compressed
air coupling. In case of any unforeseen mounting failures,
the plant is not to be disconnected from the network. The
electrical connection to the mains is done through a plug-in
type power supply unit. This means: simple and fast com-
missioning, no disruption in operations, no interruptions in
compressed air network, no electrical equipment. The dew
point in the plant can be directly read over a double line dis-
play.

Despite compact dimensions, the TPW-20M is also provi-

ded with two potential free relay contacts for connection of
external warning attachments and also an analog output for
connection to a higher order regulation system.
