Enterprise Structure is consists of two main elements. [T-

1. Personnel Area
2. Personnel Sub-Area.

Company: How many office & Branch will be there in India?

Company Code: Company code is unique in company; you will


define the company code in Financial Accounting

Personal Area (P.A): it is a 4 Digit Alpha & Numeric

Personal Area is used in Personnel Administration. Is unique in


each client. Personnel areas include all employees. They
represent separate areas which for legal reasons should be split
off according to existing business entities (self-financing unit).
Split for personnel areas enables appropriate grouping of all
employees Personnel area code can be written in 4 digits, name –
max. 30.

Personal Sub Area (P.S.A): it is a 4 Digit Alpha & Numeric


Personnel area is used in Personnel Administration. Is unique in
each client. Personnel areas include all employees. They
represent separate areas which for legal reasons should be split
off according to existing business entities (self-financing unit).
Split for personnel areas enables appropriate grouping of all
employees

Personal Structure

The organizational personnel structure describes how the


employee is positioned in the organization. This is an individual
perspective of an employee in an organization. It comprises of the
employee group, the employee sub group and the organization
plan (org unit, position, job) for that employee. The hiring action
assigns an employee via infotype 0001- Organizational
Assignment to the personnel structure.

A. Employee Group : Employee groups are just ways of


categorizing employees such as 'Active', 'Retired', 'Intern',
'Inactive', 'Temporary', etc. however a company may define i

employee/staff regulations of work and pay such as

2. Retiree/Pensioner ….. And so on.
B. Employee Sub Group: Employee subgroups are used to
break down the Employee Groups such as someone who is in
the 'Active' group could be considered several different
types of employees within the organization. The subgroups
can be defined how a company sees fit be it different types
of 'Hourly' and 'Salary' groups or defined by administrative
position or task
