Life of a Famous Scientist- Albert Einstein

By Arnav 6AR

Albert Einstein, possibly the world’s most Famous Scientist. He was born on
March 14 1879, and died on April 18 1955 Princeton, New Jersey. Albert was
most famous for being a genius scientist who discovered the theory of
relativity.

Early Life

At the age of 5 Albert got a compass that inspired him to find out more about
science. He found out that no matter how he turned the compass it always
pointed north. Albert was so clever that he skipped quite a few grades, and he
discovered no matter which way he turned his compass, it will always point
north.

Main Achievements

In 1905, Albert wrote his famous theory of relativity. His major contribution was
the recognition that the speed of light in a vacuum is constant and an absolute
physical boundary for motion. The equation below was really famous. This
equation was known as the best equation in the whole world E = mc2. E
stands for energy, which can occur as light, sound or heat. M= mass, the
amount of stuff inside of something. C is the speed of light. That is about
186,000,000 km per second! When c is squared, it is a huge number. Using
this equation, scientists have been able to produce enormous amounts of
energy with little bits of mass.

The Award that Albert got was the Nobel Prize in 1921 for his physics. He was
also awarded a gold medal by the royal astronomical society of England.

Albert lived a very long life. On April 18 1955 Princeton, New Jersey Albert
Einstein’s Life Ended. He was seventy six years old.

After all Albert was the smartest scientist with quite a long life. My friend
Michael and I think that Albert Einstein is a smart person and could be
counted on to finish a job. Do you think that Albert Einstein was a very
smart man?
