Activity 2-Flower Origami

1) Take a rectangle piece of paper and fold it so that there is a

diagonal line through a corner and the sides are all even,
making an angle bisector.

2) Cut the excess rectangle that hasn’t been folded.

3) Open previous fold and make another fold in the opposite

direction of the last fold, making a perpendicular bisector

4) Open previous fold and you should now have 2 lines making 4
isosceles triangles.

5) Take one corner and fold the tip to the midpoint of the paper,
making a small isosceles triangle.

6) Do the same as step 5 to the other 3 corners.

7) Take the square and flip it over to the other side of the paper

8) Do the same as step 5 to all 4 corners

9) Facing you, you should now have a square with 4 triangles

pointing towards the midpoint.

10)Fold the square in half

11)Fold the rectangle in half

12)Open the previous folds back to a square as described in step

13) Push the four corners of the square together in the center
and then slide 4 fingers into the flaps of your fortune teller,
creasing the folds back so your fingers fit in nicely.
