ALERT – AGC NYS needs your immediate action on Diesel

Retrofit
An industry coalition which includes that AGC NYS has jointly issued a Sample Letter and
Diesel Retrofit Ramifications sheet that we need your firms to send to your Legislators as soon
as possible. With a decision coming from courts any day now, we need to solve issue
legislatively from a grass roots level.

A draft letter for you to place on your company’s letterhead can be found at:

addition, ‘talking points’ or DERA ramifications help define the problem more fully, can be
found at http://www.agcnys.org/files/DERA_Talking_Points.pdf. We are asking each member
to print a copy of the letter and talking points for submittal to your local Assemblyman and
Senator (preferably their district offices). The letter should also be mailed to the Governor and
NYSDEC Commissioner.

http://www.bipac.net/lookup.asp?g=agc (you should uncheck the Federal Box to just find your
state legislators). State copies to the Governor and Commissioner should be sent to these

Consequently, we encourage you and your employees to send personal copies as well. The
Senate and Assembly have heard our message loud and clear – now it’s time they heard from
their constituents.
