QUICK START GUIDE FOR CARBON FILTER SYSTEM

please PRE-FILL the SYSTEM prior to ATTACHing THE VALVE HEAD.


verify THE UPPER BASKET HAS BEEN SCREWED ON to the valve.

QUICK START:
Make sure system bypass is on, no water is flowing in the unit, and the customer has water to the house.

Step 1:
Make sure the inlet is on the left and outlet is on the right. The drain should run to an authorized location.

Step 2:
Set time—press the scroll button once. The screen reads “Set”. Using the up and down arrows set the correct time.
When done press scroll 4 times until the time is re-displayed.

Step 3:
To change the factory settings, hold down arrow until the screen reads “Systems Check”. When you see this display,
release down arrow and re-press the down arrow.
DOWN, DOWN, SCROLL DOWN. THE SCREEN SAYS “CAPACITY 1000 GL”

Step 4:
Press the scroll button until you see “Back Wash 10 min”. Change to “5 min”.
Press scroll 2 more times until the screen reads “FILL/RNS 5 min”. Change to “1 min”.

STEP 5:
Press scroll one time, the screen will read “Change Phone Number No”. (Press the down arrow, the screen will
read “Yes”).
Press the scroll button one time and the first 0 will flash. Using the up and down arrows select “0-9”, press the
scroll button to advance to the next number and repeat until the last digit. When you get to the last digit, press
the scroll button and the screen will read “Exit”. Press the down arrow. The time and volume will be displayed.

STARTING THE UNIT:


Press the scroll button 3 times. The screen will start a count down and
then after 10 seconds the motor will start. When this happens, open the
inlet valve only (the one on the left) and the system will start to discharge
to drain.
Wait for 6 minutes and the valve will reset itself; You should start your
clean up at this point. When the valve is complete, please repeat the
process and then open the outlet (the valve on the right).
You have now completed the start up, congratulations! Go into the house
and open only one faucet, cold side only. Run for 3 to 7 minutes and test
for chlorine. You should read 0, if not continue to run water for another
5 minutes.
