Executive Summary

I have been assigned to do my Case Study on Uttara Bank Limited on the topic of
Human Resource Management Practices of Banking sector- A case study on Uttara
Bank Limited as per requirement of M.B.A. program Stamford University of
Bangladesh. The case study has been segregated into Nine Chapter.

Chapter One is about Introduction, Objective of the study, Methodology, Limitation.


Chapter two is headed by Human Resource Planning. Chapter three is comprised of
Recruitment and Selection. Chapter four is Orientations. Chapter five the training system
of the bank. Chapter six is Performance Appraisal of Uttara Bank Limited how they
appraise their employees. Chapter Seven is compensation system of the bank. Chapter
Eight is Reward and Benefit of the bank. Chapter Nine is highlighted the relationship of
the employees of the bank. I have also tried to find out some problems and try provide
some thoughts of mine solving the problem.
