The villager’s main source of income is agriculture. Water is scarce in the region, many rely
on three wells located in the village. There is limited access to health facilities and
education. The current schools in the village lack staff and supplies.
With a mission to provide underprivileged children
with a nurturing and stimulating educational environment,
Aseema runs the Sitabai Kavji Mengal Anganwadi at Jambhwadi
& an Education Centre for Tribal Children at Awalkheda is underway.
In 2005-06 Aseema trained the Anganwadi teachers
from 4 villages in Igatpuri
In July 2007 Aseema started the Sitabai Kavji
