MATHS 108 Assignment 1 Due: 4pm, Tuesday August 17th

Hand your assignment in to the correct box on the Ground floor of Building 303. Show all working.
Late assignments will not be marked.

This assignment was written by Vaughan Mitchell (v.mitchell@math.auckland.ac.nz). The tutors in

the Mathematics Assistance Room (on the Ground floor of Building 303) can give you help and advice,
but all work submitted should be your own. Other questions about this assignment can be directed
to your lecturer, the author of the assignment, or the course coordinator.
