In the evening, freedom fighters withdrew completely from Tawarga because they were concerned that
Gaddafi forces would ambush them. Freedom fighters took position along the border with Misurata.

Five were martyred and another five were seriously injured. Freedom fighters succeeded in capturing four
soldiers from Gaddafi forces. The situation in Misurata is very quiet.

Continued Shortages in Misurata

Misurata is still experiencing shortages of electricity and cooking gas. The sewage system is completely out
of order. There are shortages of medicine and medical equipment; and hospitals continue to receive more
and more of the wounded. Life in Misurata, however, is slowly returning back to normal after the freedom
fighters liberated the city.
