Project 100points

Each student will be expected to present a 3-5 minute explanation of your family
dynamics. This explanation must include:

1. Use a Visual Aide. (family tree, powerpoint presentation, overhead slides,

posterboard, just something big enough for everyone to see. DO NOT WRITE
ANY WORDS ON YOUR VISUAL AIDE)

2. Write on the board any vocabulary words that will be new to other students.
Make sure to introduce the signs as well. (point to them and then show the sign.)
Do all of this before you present not during.

3. Basic Information related to your family. Grandparents to Grandbabies.

a. Fingerspell their name
b. Tell how you are related or how they are related to someone else on your
visual aide.

4. Expand on 5 members of your family and give additional information on them.

Examples include:
a. School Grade
b. Whether they are a teacher or student and where they teach/learn
c. If they are Deaf, Hard of Hearing or Hearing
d. How they get to work
e. Whether they live alone or with a roommate
f. Information about their name

Please write out your main points (outline form is fine) in plain English and turn it in the
day of your presentation. This will enable me to understand what you have planned to
say so that I can be sure you are signing it correctly. Sign ups for days of each
presentation will be Mon 3/19.

10 points= Paper 25 points = Visual Aide 65 points = Presentation
