Greed to the senator the man did ascribe And thought him willing to take a bribe To statewide office the senator did aspire So adequate funding a run would require But this time he had made a large mistake For no bribe did the senator want to take So the businessman couldnt give it the lie The senator worked out a plan with the FBI To prove that his vote they were trying to hire, The next time the senator was wearing a wire The recording that he got was damming indeed It told about corruption, gambling and greed The senators integrity had been far under rated Because bribery and crime he absolutely hated In this day and time, it has become rather rare To find a man who about honesty does care
