You should have the following SAP Logon icon on your computer.

If you do not have it, you should ask your SAP contact at the University to load the SAP GUI (Graphical User Interface) on your computer. Action: Double click the SAP Logon icon (highlighted in blue) on the screen.

The SAP Logon pop-up screen you see will appear. Under Description there is a list of SAP client servers. You may have one or several choices and they may be slightly different - when the system goes live. Action: Click on the word Sandbox to select it.

You have now selected Sandbox and it should be highlighted in blue. Once a Client is selected you can now Logon. Action: Click on the Logon button. You will see the SAP loading and initializing frontend stages cycle through on your computer and eventually the ID and Password screen will appear.

This is the screen where you will enter your User ID and your Password. (You will NOT be able to enter your User ID and/or Password on this demo screen) Once entered you need to locate the green circle with the white checkmark in it (top left hand corner).

This icon is used as the Enter key. Action: Click on the Enter icon.

This is the SAP Easy Access screen, which is the first SAP window from where you can navigate to the various SAP transactions. To Logoff of the SAP system, locate the word System on the dark blue Menu Bar at the top of the screen. Action: Click on the word System.

You will now see a drop down box underneath the word System. At the bottom of this dropdown box are the words Log off. Action: Move your mouse over the words Log off and a gray shaded box will appear around the words. Click Log off.

You will now see a drop down box underneath the word System. At the bottom of this dropdown box are the words Log off. Action: Move your mouse over the words Log off and a gray shaded box will appear around the words. Click Log off.

Just in case, SAP has provided the are you sure? box. Action: Click Yes.

You now have successfully logged on and logged off of the SAP system. You can replay this demo to obtain more practice and familiarity with the Logon and Logoff procedures in SAP.
