Project Management Plan for M & K Image Sensor Plant in France Executive SummaryThe following document provides the project plan for M & K corporation image sensor manufacture plant in France in a joint venture with Pajot Autos. The report describes the background and objectives for the project and explains the strategy behind the project management structure proposed by International Elements (IE) The WBS included as Appendix A describes the activities and schedule of the image sensor-manufacturing project (ISMP) The project duration will be 10 months starting in June 2011 and ending in April 2012. BackgroundM & K Corporation is a U.S.-based company manufacturing various electronic products, including imaging devices, semiconductor devices, and automobile image sensors. M & K Corporation decides to open a new automobile image sensors unit in another country and in collaboration with a local company called Pajot Autos Ltd. ObjectivesThe overall objective of this project plan is to describe how International elements will successfully complete the collaboration with Pajot Autos LTD. With M & K being US based and venturing in the France market for the first time and there will be a need to research and carefully document every step of this collaboration to ensure that M & K is given a voice in the new sister company on foreign soil. The major deliverables from this project will be y Risk Management Plan y Risk Register y Risk PI Matrix y Communication Plan y Project Presentation y Investor Contracts y Shareholders Contract y Project Closing Plan Project TeamThe project team will consist of 5 key chairpersons for the duration of the project. The roles and responsibility are as follows: y Project Manager (Chris Gonzalez) - overall responsibility for all aspects of the project on behalf of all the major shareholders and as a representative of M & K Corporation. Is the group leader and responsible for the overall success of the group as well as presentation design. y Project Coordinator (Tamika Roland) Responsible to the project manager for the coordination of all activities related to the risk of ISMP. All team members will report to the coordinator and the coordinator will then in return report to the PM. y Human Resources Manager (Teria Edwards) Responsible to the project coordinator and coordination of all aspects of risk involving the human resource department state side and in France.

Scheduling Manager (Angelica Casarez) responsible to the project coordinator for all aspects of the WBS and scheduling of the ISMP in France. Legal Researcher (Nick Bowie) Responsible to the project manager for legal counsel related to the ISMP

Project Management StrategyThe image sensor project will be broken down into four phases initiation planning execution and closing. y Phase 1 initiation- This phase involves developing and assessing the feasibility of the overall project concept. Key activities include the owners; partnership agreement and the initial feasibility study y Phase 2 planning- This phase involves the development of plans and strategies required in managing the ISMP. Key activities include creating the business plan and project plan, and completing preconstruction studies. y Phase 3 execution- This phase involves the actual remodeling of the facility and also includes an increased focus on marketing. y Phase 4 closing- This phase involves internal project management functions required to close the project, including the project review, lessons learned and final report to shareholders. Project ScheduleThe work breakdown structure include in this plan gives a complete visual of milestones, beginning and end dates of the ISMP following the whole 10 months. Project Cost SummaryThe cost summary is to document that 50 million US dollars have been budgeted for the ISMP. As per the investors and shareholders agreement monthly disbursements will be deposited in the account on the 5th of every month after Chris Gonzalez gives his monthly report to the major shareholders. Project Quality Management PlanA scope management plan integrated with other control processes (schedule, cost and quality) will be promulgated. The plan has the following but will not be limited to y Change request must be written and fully substantiated. y Each change request must be assessed as to its impact on quality, cost and schedule. y A tracking system will monitor quality y Approval levels will be used for authorizing changes to ensure good quality The team will employ a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods to monitor the project. Control of risk thru a risk management team will help ensure the high quality. Hiring companies that implement ISO 5000 practices whenever possible allows for proven successful quality standards to be implemented.

Project Management Plan for M & K Image Sensor Plant in France Project AssumptionsThe project plan described in this report is subject to a vast number of external and internal influences, many of which cannot be projected accurately or defined at the outset of the project. The project plan is founded on the following key assumptions: y Economic and political environmental factors will continue to support the project concept. y Community support for construction and ongoing patronage will continue y The budgeted amount of 50 million US dollars will be sufficient to complete the ISMP. y The environmental assessments will be favorable or mitigation can be done with reasonable effort y The investors will be satisfied with the PMP y Delivery of all equipment is within the time allotted y All permits and permissions are secured within the time allotted y The weather during phases 3 and 4 remain within normal parameters y All contracts submitted will be signed and notarized timely SummaryInternational Elements has developed a comprehensive project plan that will allow them to see the ISMP thru all the phases of this project. This plan maximizes the teams ability to complete this projects quadruple constraint of time cost scope and client acceptance. The feasibility studies will be conducted during the initiation phase to establish the likelihood of the success of M & Ks collaboration with Pajot Autos in France. Once approval has been signed off on by the major shareholder the planning phase will begin with risk assessments being identified and a plan of risk management will be implemented. M & K will act as the overall management while contracting certain aspects of ISMP outsourcing to technical firms during the execution phase. All communications will be handled thru box.net, Skype, and inner networking i.e. emails. Newsletters, power point presentations, memos and meetings. All aspects of Pajot Autos will be fully integrated with M & K and have full cross-functional teams to help complete these tasks.
