This plant of ACC Limited is situated in Himachal Pradesh at Gagal, P.O. Barmana, Distt Bilaspur. This plant is known as ACC Gagal Cement Works. The headquarters of ACC is situated at Mumbai. Till date, I got to learn about the history of ACC limited. How it established in India and how the Gagal plant was established in 1987. I have learned about the standing orders for workmen which are certified under The Industrial Employment (Standing Orders) Act, 1946. I have gone through various important registers like register of adult workers, register of attendance,register of leave with wages, national festival holidays, casual and sick leave register etc. which are being checked by the labour inspector. ACC has been doing a great job in maintaining its vicinity green and beautiful. ACC has supported various programmes in the community. ACC has range of activities in field of education, rural, village and community welfare, health, promotion of sports, promotion of art and culture, employment generation, women empowerment and environment protection.
