2011 Ball Gown Giveaway

for Active Duty military and family members

Military ID must be presented to participate. There will be inflatable obstacle course and a wave slide to keep the kids amused. FREE childcare will be provided while you make your clothing selections, and there can be TWO selections per participant.

**Priority will be given to active duty and spouses for ranks of E-5 and below from 7:30 AM8:30 AM, and then open to ALL ranks. E-5s Check in for number starts at 6:00am

cards: Military ID cards: DO NOT forget yours! You will not be able to participate in the event without it. Parking: The Abby Reinke Community Center parking lot will be CLOSED. There is ample parking next door at the Youth Center and near the baseball fields. First come, first serve: Ranks of E-5 and below will be processed from 6:00AM8:30AM, with the doors opening at 7:30 this year. After that, check-in will begin for ALL ranks ( E6 and above ) . Areas: Changing Areas Both bathrooms in the community center will be utilized in addition to two public changing rooms. If you are the modest type, think about wearing a bathing suit underneath your clothing ( there will be executive washrooms in the parking lot of the Community Center ) . Gown Selections: You have the opportunity to receive two gowns/dresses. How long do I get?: We allow approximately 20 minutes and can accommodate between 50-75 participants at a time. NOTE: Every person desiring to have access to the dress selection room, must be checked in even if they are simply accompanying a friend. No children are allowed in the dress selection room, childcare will be available for the 20 minutes. To maintain privacy, men cannot go beyond the lobby of the center. There will be limited food available at the event.
