Jesus made it direct and clear when He said, I, for my part declare to you, you are rock and on this rock I will build my Church. I will entrust to you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven. (Matthew 16:18-19)

Peter became the first Pope and the apostles became the first bishops.

Today, the Church is led by a Pope, the bishops, and priests. They continue the work of the apostles.

Pope the leader of the whole Catholic Church. Bishops help the Pope to teach, to guide, and to lead the people of God to holiness. Priests lead the parish community in prayer and worship. They also have the power to forgive our sins in the name of God

Religious sisters and brothers help the priest in taking care of the people Parishioners or laity they are parish members who help their priest do works of love and spread the faith by teaching others about God.

a. Share the Good News of Jesus: His Life and Teachings.

b. Help people to live in peace, unity and harmony.

c. Care for the poor and the needy.
