Pre-Writing (brainstorming) for the biography / feature article

Imagine that it is May 2012. You are a senior at Grant High School and the
Grantonian is planning an article about you. Answer the following quesitons to
prepare to write your own fictional biography or feature article.

1. List all the sports, activities, and clubs that you have participated in at Grant over
the course of your four years here. Be sure to give specific records that you may
have set, plays that you performed in, concerts/events that you organized, etc.

2. List your academic achievements here. Be sure to state your GPA as well as the
classes that you have taken, awards, scholarships that you have earned, where you
will be attending college next year, etc.

3. List your “favorite moments” from your four years here at Grant. These can be
classes you had, trips that you have taken, teachers you liked/hated, funny things
that people said, etc.

4. Describe a major event that you took part in that could be used as a feature article
about you. Think back on the examples that you read in the packet. Make it up,
but be realistic.
