A Love Poem from Our Savior

I have loved you with a love that never ends. Though the mountains be shaken And the hills be removed, Yet My unfailing love for you will not be shaken. How could I give you up? My heart is turned over within Me. I will take great delight in you, I will quiet you with My love, I will rejoice over you with singing. Therefore I am now going to allure you; I will lead you into the desert And speak tenderly to you. I have engraved you on the palms of My hands. As the bridegroom rejoices over his bride, So I rejoice over you. Therefore My heart yearns for you. One day, you will call Me my Husband. I will betroth you to Me forever; I will betroth you to Me in love. I have made myself one spirit with you I nourish you; I cherish you. I give Myself up for you. I lay down My life for you. (Psalms 100:5, Isaiah 54:10, Hosea 11:8, Zephaniah 3:17, Hosea 2:14, Isaiah 49:16, 62:3, 62:1, Hosea 2:16, 2:19, John 17:21, Isaiah 49:15, John 10:11) Compiled by David Gregory, taken from his book A Day with a Perfect Stranger
