NORMAL

NORMALMENTE: Ellos normalmente hablan italiano con su familia.

INTELIGENTE

ADJECTIVE + MENTE

when the adjective ends in o, the adverb is formed by changing the o to an a then adding -mente
Ellos corrieron rpidamente* [the adverb maintains whatever accent the adjective might have] rpidorpida--rpidamente

When there are more than 2 adverbs in a sentence, the last one in the list maintains the mente. The others still change the o to a [if applicable] before dropping the mente; the others just drop the mente. Trabajamos lenta, frecuente y miserablemente.
