Dear Action Learning and Action Research Enthusiast

CONTRIBUTION TO NEXT ISSUE

With spring in the air, I feel like frolicking (springerig in Afrikaans) at this stage. Hope you have a
similar feeling and that all the energy is regulated to the right place – of course it would best to
invest in another journal article.

I have recently been appointed editor of the ALAR Journal, published by ALARPM in Australia.
Ortrun Zuber-Skerritt is the founder member of this Association. The first number for 2005
appeared as the April issue under my editorship. It was my intention to have the second number for
2005 flavoured with South African stories from the field of action learning, action research, process
management or participatory action research.

I would like to invite you to contribute to the next issue. I would appreciate it if I could have your
paper e-mailed to me in Word format not later than 20 September. I am looking forward to having
my e-mail flooded in the next week. Since the Journal has not been accredited yet, the editorial
committee would like to start the accreditation process. Your overwhelming response might help
with such a motivation.

The Journal has a developmental aim and you might like to encourage some of your postgraduate
students to submit some proposals as well.

Looking forward to hearing from you
