SSTL 900

Versatile low cost communications, navigation and exploration

The SSTL 900 small geostationary and interplanetary spacecraft takes SSTLs range of cost effective products to new heights. The SSTL 900 platform can be tailored to customer requirements for performance-driven missions beyond Earth orbit. It achieved flight heritage when launched in December 2005 as Europes first Galileo satellite, GIOVE-A and demonstrates SSTLs ability to build to affordable budgets and to short and clearly defined timescales. The European Space Agency (ESA) has invested in SSTLs 900 series small geostationary platform through the ARTES-4 programme.
