The exhibition will be housed in Colombos Lionel Wendt till the 28th of this month after which it will

begin its tour of Sri Lanka. Upon the completion of this tour, the entire exhibit will be handed over to the Ministry of Heritage. Covering 300 years of Sri Lankas interactions with colonial powers such as the Portuguese, the Dutch and the British, each image provides a window through which we can examine the island as seen through foreign eyes. The 150 odd images that will make up the exhibit are drawn from the collections of the British Library, the Victoria and Albert Museums, the Natural History Museum, London and the National Museum, Colombo.
