410) Instructor: David Brooker Assessment Synopsis Students had to apply a multidimensional framework of analysis to political parties from Canada and Sweden. Students use details from the published platforms of the parties as evidence. Criteria 1. Demonstrate an understanding of the political parties framework and strong analytical skills by accurately placing the political parties within the multidimensional framework. This is a really impressive piece of work. You went above and beyond the expectations for this assessment. The fact that you were willing to dig deeper into the Swedish parties websites is the clearest sign of this. They way you placed the parties demonstrated a strong understanding of the framework as well as strong analytical skills. I was consistently struck by how insightful your analysis was. The thing that was perhaps the most impressive was how you would consider multiple positions of a party in deciding where to place it. This means you are dealing with more information, which makes the assignment harder, but in the end your analysis is deeper. 2. Further demonstrate this understanding and analytical skills by offering convincing evidence to support the placement of the political parties. You do a great job of supplying evidence. The level of detail and specificity is amazing. While detailed knowledge of Swedish political parties might never again be useful, the ability to organize and synthesize a significant amount of information has many applications. 3. Demonstrate Level 4 written ability. On top of everything else, your paper was clear and readable despite all of the information crammed into it. You didnt let the paper get overwhelming. 4. Authenticate her work following APA Guidelines and academic honesty policy principles. You even went above and beyond with the footnotes. The fact that you cited specific parts of a partys website shows you truly understand the purpose of citations.
