    June 2011 Dear Parent, Your child has lost or damaged a library book which needs to be replaced. Attached are printouts from our library catalog system one showing information about the book itself (title, edition, publisher, ISBN, etc.) and the other showing the cost of the lost copy. You have two options: pay for the book, or give us a new copy of the book in a similar format. If you pay for the book, there is an administrative charge of $25 per book to cover shipping and processing, plus 7% GST. Note that if you do pay for the book and it turns up later, the money cannot be refunded (though you do get to keep the found book). If you replace the book yourself, there is no administrative charge. Note, there is an easy way for you to order books online with no shipping charge! simply go to Book Depository (UK): http://www.bookdepository.co.uk/ . I order a lot of our books from there and find them very reasonably priced and reliable. Locally there are Borders and Kinokuniya where you might also find the book. Note that if your child is leaving the school at the end of this term, this matter must be settled as soon as possible.
