This is a PDF version of PECKHAMIA 1(4): 62, March 1978. Pagination of the original document has been retained. Editor's note (23.1): Agassa
cyanea is now known as Sassacus cyaneus (Richman, D. B., 2008, J. of Arachnol. 36(1): 26-48), and Metaphidippus montanus and M. insignis as
Pelegrina montana and P. insignis, respectively (Maddison, W. P., 1996, Bull. Mus. Comp. Zool. 154(4): 215-368).

CORRECTIONS TO A PRELIMINARY LIST OF THE SALTICIDAE OF MINNESOTA. Bruce Cutler

Recent captures have necessitated a few changes in the checklist published in Peckhamia 1(3):40. Agassa cyanea
(Hentz) and Marpissa lineata (C. L. Koch) are to be added. Metaphidippus montanus (Emerton) is deleted, this
specimen actually represents an aberrant male M. insignis (Banks). I have several examples of males of this species
with atypical emboli from several localities in the state. The correct citation for Pellenes wrighti is Gertsch, not Lowrie
and Gertsch. With the deletions and additions, there are now 60 species of salticids known from Minnesota.
