    NAGELES RULE

    EDC- Estimated date of confinement EDB- Estimated date of birth EDD Estimated date of delivery

    To calculate the date of birth this rule- count backward 3 calendar months form the 1st date of he last menstrual period and add 7 days

    EXAMPLE: May 15 = 5 15 +1 (April 15, March 15, Feb 15) and add 7 days 5 15 2011 -3 +7 + 1 EDC = 2 - 22 - 2012 (Feb 22, 2012)

    AOG Age of Gestation -31 MAY 15 16 JUNE -9 = STOP FROM THE DATE CLIENTS VISITS CLINIC
