Part 1:
On your blank map of Egypt, you need to label the all of the geographical features and places below.
When labeling, be sure that I can read your writing. If you are labeling a city, you will need to draw the
dot, showing where the city is located, in the right spot. When labeling the cataracts, you will need to
draw a small line across the Nile River, to show exactly where the cataract is located. Use pgs. 69 and 79
in your SS book to help you with your map.

Part 2:
After you are finished labeling your map, follow the directions below.

1. Outline all of the rivers in blue.

2. Color the seas and gulfs in blue.
3. Label the “Red Land” and the “Black Land” and create a symbol that designates each area.
4. Shade in at least three different elevations on your map, using three different colors.
5. Draw a key to show what each elevation color stands for.
