Rhetorical Analysis Proposal I intend to use the text from George Washingtons official farewell address for my Rhetorical

analysis paper. This is a famous address of advice and wisdom given to the U.S. for future purposes of government. The main genre that I plan to use for this text is politics. I really think using this topic will be worthwhile because I can use this address in comparison with another document to show the significance of what George Washington stated. The purpose of this speech is for the future America, it audiences U.S. citizens that are actually interested in politics. I plan to prove how the purpose of this address was to warn the U.S., and how even though this was the best advice that could be given, this address did not achieve its purpose because the partakers of government did not listen.
