Captain, Good to see you. Weve already sent commandoes down but I need someone of your caliber to inspect a very particular site, one that needs isolation for a reason. As such, redirect your ship to the planet and I shall send along the coordinates.

The site to which you are being referred to is a crash site. It seems that, despite the massive bombardment, someone managed to shoot down one of their attackers. What they shot down however was a prototype TIE fighter, something we havent seen before. A fusion of the Interceptor and the Bomber, it seems to excel in either role.

It also seems that unlike traditional TIE craft, it was equipped with an escape pod built directly into the craft, so it is likely that the pilot jettisoned and may be somewhere in the forests or may be making his way to the capitol as we speak. We need you to track him and get his flight recorder. That way, we can get the full story.

If you find him, try to negotiate with him. Perhaps he will be willing to turn to our side, and maybe help us make sense of the remnants actions in recent weeks. If not, then make sure he cannot escape the planet. It is likely that he has already laid traps along the way, maybe even trapped the crash site, so be careful.

Near the crash zone is a clearing that should accommodate your ship. If the pilot is alive and you must track him, we have deployed some AT-RTs to the area, and though they may be relics of the clone wars, they would allow you and another team member to move swiftly through the forest.

The rest of your team should provide aerial reconnaissance then or try to cut him off by speaking to local authorities at Pandath and try to stop him from reaching the spaceport. Good luck, Captain, the rest of the RRTF will pursue the Imperials.
