A Soldiers Christmas

He tramps along the deserted road, A heavy weight must he bear. For his country depends upon him, And for its freedom does he care. Christmas time has come at last, But the poor, lonely soldier seems forgot Amidst the festivities and holiday cheer, As he walks alone: lost. But one young baby was born in the hay, Coming to save the world. He sees the young soldier, and him does He love, On this lonely, Christmas day. This baby led a sinless life, To give this world salvation. He loves each child, each boy and girl; And each does He love as His own. So lets not forget, this holiday season, That one young soldier. Let us show him the love that he deserves; Show him the baby born in a manger.
