We have been reading lots of The new word wall words for this week winter stories. Our focus this week will be are she, of, and on. We will study the am The Hat and The mitten. word family as well. We will be doing lots of activities such as retelling and identifying the beginning, middle, and end of these stories.

We continue to practice writing our names with the first letter capital and the Our January Family Project was sent rest lower case. Please also practice this home on Friday. We have also been playing lots of games and practicing sharing and taking turns.

We will continue to build our stamina during Daily 5. We will also continue working on skills such as prediction, comprehension, and identifying characters, setting, and the problem of a story.
