CHAPTER I PROBLEM AND ITS SETTINGS

INTRODUCTION

Packed lunch is made at home by either the parents or a house helper. The food that will be prepared is whether with rice or not. The lunch prepared is may be viand with rice, sandwich, pasta, fruits and vegetables. The lunch made is commonly prepared in lunch boxes. The students will bring the packed lunch to school.

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

The researchers conducted this study to determine the advantages and disadvantages of bringing packed lunch to school to the students. Specifically, this study aimed to answer the following questions:

1. What are the advantages and disadvantages of bringing packed lunch to the students? 2. Does bringing packed lunch can help students save money? 3. How many students prefer bringing packed lunch or buying food in school canteen?
