Beginning and Ending

By Elton Camp Robert as a child, he was often lonely The friends he had were in name only Boy didnt know what he did wrong But, with others, didnt quite belong He was uncertain what he should do We dont want to play with you. In school, Robert did reasonably well Although in social skills didnt excel At sports, he didnt very well compete Was ignored by the girls he did meet Business success brought him a wife And two kids, his chief delight in life Marriage didnt last long, of course She wanted money and a divorce His children she turned against him Life, again, became exceedingly grim In old age, Robert again sits alone Any reason for living is long gone

Robert was unhappy his entire life
