This is the reason why convex mirror is more practical to be rear-view mirror although plane mirror can produce larger image. The Object appear in the mirror is closer than real because there are distorting effects on distance perception. The mirror also is placed at the road junction and the corner of the place. Furthermore. In security system, the convex mirror usually used in some automated teller machines. It is important to avoid crimes as the user can observe what happen behind them. Concave mirror has a reflecting surface which bulges inward and its light reflection is converges towards one focal point. Reflective Image produce by the concave mirror typically larger than the actual focal point due to it curvature center which is directed away from any incident light Thus, the unique characteristic of concave mirror make it useful to focus light. The image produce my concave is depends on the distance between the object and the mirror. The concave mirror is very useful in our life such as spectrometry, in medical, in alternative energys field and others. Concave mirror is use in spectrometer to form and focus the beam of light originating at the sample. Spectrometer is an instrument or tool used to divide light into its component color and measure their relative intensities. Spectrometers is important in color analyzer such as in color matching machines , color analysis machines which provide the information about the quality control of color TVs tubes. and also in the blood analyzer, which use to measure the color of blood samples when exposed to various chemical agents. In medical, the dentist use the convex mirror to allow indirect vision ,reflecting light onto desired surface and retraction of soft tissues. Larger image produce by the concave assist the dentist see and also working on back teeth efficiently. In addition, the concave mirror not just only use as hand held equipment but also mounted over the dental chair. Concave mirror also benefits in field of alternative energy.
