Why are you interested in participating in the New York Aquariums Careers in Aquatic Research and Education Program ?

I am interested in participating in the New York Aquariums Careers in Aquatic Research and Education Program because it will help me in my future career of becoming a Marine Bioligist, which was inspired by going to 4th grade field trip to the Coney Island aquarium. Where I took a tour to see the animals that mesmerize me in there natural habitat .It was like gaining amazement insight to a whole another world .That had these other animals that had a vibrant characteristic.Which had drawn me in to want to study their behaviors and protect them from predators . Another reason I'm interested in participating in the C.A.R.E program because I like water animals especially horseshoe crabs .I was always enchanted by there diffrent color blood and how they are identify by gender, girl and boy .They are also easy to find in our own community at our fellow Kaiser Park bay.Mostly during late may and early june is when they are easily spotted . These water animals are different and special in there own little way that gives them there extrodinary personailties that I grown to love . Also I'm interested in participating in the Care Program because I would like to learn more about the ocean conservation and more ways I can help save or prevent animals in an endanger environment .These animals have a huge impact on our ways of learning about the ocean and how to protect other animals like them . What do you hope to gain from this experience?

From this experience I hope to gain more knowledge about water animals because I would like to understand them more and to get a better perception about their attituides and actions. I also hope to gain experience from working with animals .So I could have a future refrence on resumes . Another thing I hope to gain from this experiece is motivation .So I can help encourage others to join different programs.That would help them with their future careers. graciie2
