This is how it works. - The queen bee gives birth to every bee in the hive; drones mate with the queen and immediately die or get kicked out, while worker bees ensure that the hive functions like clockwork. Now it seems, that South American honeybees have added an additional role - that of a soldier bee. This specific bee is only found in Brazil. Its called the Jatai bees. The reason they are called soldier bees is because its body build is different. These are some of the traits. The weird thing is I really dont like bees. But these bees are cool. Its like they were mutated to be like that, but thats how they are born. Also these soldier bees are not the entire species some are robber bees which go to other hives and steal honey. Some are drones that mate with the queen then die etc. But they are definitely the coolest of their species.
