EF English First Changsha

Hi, parents and students! Here at EF Changsha we aim to use as much English as possible in all our lessons. Ive put together the following list of classroom English I expect all our students to be able to understand, produce, and respond to. (Note that this definitely isnt comprehensive but its a start.) A. How are you today? Are you happy? Why are you sad? B. Where is Tracy? Where is my marker? Where is your homework? Do you have your homework? Tracy C. Why are you late? D. Give me five sentences using are. Give me five sentences with are. are are E. Are you ready? Have you done? Have you finished? F. Guess. Can you guess? What do you think? What do you think about penguins? G. How do you spell bananas? What words start with B? Give me five words that start with B. bananas BB H. Can you tell me five animals? Name five animals. I. Go help Jessica. Jessica J. You have one minute to clean the classroom. Remember! ! 1. Its OK if you dont understand everything your teacher says! It takes time to develop listening skills. If you can follow along and participate in games and activities, youre doing well. 2. If youre struggling to remember vocabulary or need to practice reading and writing, try spending more time in iLab! Kids iLab is the best way to review our class content all the activities are tied to our books, so the more you play, the better prepared youll be for class! 3. If youre struggling or not seeing any progress with your studies, let us know! Our teachers, PAs, and even our other students and parents are all here to help you succeed. EF is more than a school its an international community of language learners.
