We believe in the promises of the people who care for us and whom we trust. A promise makes us look forward to something that we long for or want to have. A fulfilled promise makes us happy. Let us see how God made us happy when He fulfilled His promise to us.

The Holy Eucharist: - We remember Jesus giving His Body and Blood through Bread and Wine - Sacrifice An offering to God done out of LOVE.
What was the greatest sacrifice done in our lives? - Jesus Sacrificing of Himself on the cross
During Holy Mass: - The priest invites us to proclaim the mystery of our faith. Christ has died. Christ has risen. Christ will come again.
The Holy Eucharist: - A sacred meal - We share Jesus Body and Blood during the communion to give us NEW LIFE.
WE LISTEN TO THE CHURCH In the Eucharist, Christ gives us the very body which he gave up on the cross, the very blood which he poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. CFC #1365
The Eucharist is thus a sacrifice because it re-presents (makes present) the sacrifice of the cross. CFC #1366
